The missing clues.
There has been all this hoopla recently from the Obama campaign about how McCain is nothing but a shill for the oil companies because he has gotten money from them. But even this fluff piece in The Herald has to point out that Obama is the one raking in the cash and that more than half his cash has come from really big donors that represent their own special interests. Usually interests that are very negative for America and Americans that believe collectivism is the problem and not the solution. People like Soros or the Hollywierd crowds. But that will not be pointed out by these MSM echo chambers for the DNC. Of course McCain is evil for representing people that oppose collectivism and its expansion. Frankly I am glad that people that see collectivism for the threat it is are trying to mitigate the damage.
In the mean time these people are all trying to tell us there is a recession, or there should be one, so it helps democrats in November. But the fat remains that things are changing. President Bush calls for offshore drilling and oil drops & stock rise. We are in an energy war right now. OPEC is trying to screw us. Instead of helping us get rid of their dependency by breaking their stranglehold and giving us a cushion while we move to alternative energies, the left has decided that it likes the power it gets from Americans getting screwed by this energy crisis, and are advocating we quit oil cold turkey. Even though it will take 2 or 3 decades to replace it with anything else (nuclear is the only real solution too)!
The MSM is screwing us harder then ever this election. They are pawning a Marxist nobody, with no real experience and are making all kinds of excuses to hide his numerous faults, on us simply because of the color of his skin. Fight back people.
