Other news

While it has been great fun exposing the Breck Girl’s cover-up routine by the MSM and once and for all leaving no doubt that they are a bunch of propagandists for the collectivist democrats, there have been other things happening around the globe. Sorry, but I could care less about the Olympics because all I see is a communist regime grandstanding on the global stage to create the impression they are no longer a repressive and evil bunch of collectivists. I am ashamed that the rest of the world is letting these crooks legitimize their thuggish government. So the other big thing, and the timing of it can’t be all coincidence, is the Russian invasion of Southern Georgia, a US ally. Others are seeing the big trend hear: the Bear is back.

Basically this fight is about first letting the Europeans know that Russia has them by the balls when it comes to energy. If the Europeans understand Russia can cut off their energy, they will have to kiss Putin’s ass. I bet we will see a lot of Euro-trash crying about not pissing off the big bear while their governments finally realize they better start making nice with the US if they want any kind of backing. Of course the Russians might hope this helps the current slide in oil prices stop and the price to go back up as they are losing some serious cash there.

It bears to be pointed out that the Russian move was a pre-planned one. There is no way the Russian forces that moved into Ossetia did so on a moments notice. This has been in the works for weeks, if not months, and they just found an excuse they could exploit to invade Georgia. This is a huge power play directed at the Europeans, NATO, and the US. It hopes to make sure the Europeans, and especially the former Soviet Block satellite states, know not to mess with the big, bad, Bear, but it also hopes to create the fear & instability the oil markets look for to make prices jump. Win-win for the government in Moscow, and bad for everyone else. Of course like I said before, the liberals will blame America for this and act like what the Russians did was all fine & dandy.

Then again, the libs will be hard at work spinning about the Breck girl and hoping not too many people point out how they tried to cover-up for him, so we might not hear much about this story for a while.
