Oil price keeps dropping…

Despite the bullshit from the MSM about how the price of crude is continued to drop only because of a stronger dollar and reduced demand, now they are saying China is also using less oil since claiming it is just the US that has reduced consumption no longer flies, and this Russian gambit to all at once destroy a free country, show all the old Soviet client states as well as the nations of Western Europe that are dependant or energy from that region now completely controlled by Moscow that they better do what the new ex-KGB clique running the show in Moscow wants, and an assorted effort by many others to stop the slide of the ppb of crude, what is really making the correction impossible to stop is the fact that everyone now believes that it has become political suicide to oppose the move for the US to resume offshore drilling, as even mad Pelosi now caves in.

The massive price hike that oil had over the last 2 years was caused by many things. There where concerted efforts by many people that made huge money keeping oil prices high that factored in. The US dollar got weak and affected pricing. The world was going to use up more of the stuff, never less, and that has not changed. And the conflict in the ME and the constant threat of escalation and expansion gave everyone the heeby-jeebees. But none of these factored in as much as the simple fact that the biggest consumer now and likely in the next 3 or so decades, the people with the real know-how and the big capability, the US for those that are too stupid to live, had decided they would not do anymore drilling of their own, or even look for new oil sources. And that decision was made to appease the environmental nut cases. We can not blame the world and the people speculating for reacting, and reacting very negatively, to tat kind of attitude. It is both the height of hypocrisy and stupidity, but we are talking about the left and their new religious masters here. These people always live in la-la land.

Want proof? That completely calculated, dastardly, and provoked invasion by Russia of Georgia should have sent the price of crude off the charts. The Russians bombed a pipeline and now hold the area where it runs through. It is obvious to everyone this was done so they can hold Europe’s energy hostage and practice economic warfare if the Europeans piss them off. And yet, this did not cause a jump. That means speculators no longer fear the supply issue. And they do not because they can now see the US is serious about getting more oil. Look for the price of crude to drop to somewhere around $70 a barrel as soon as Congress signs the drilling ban away. And have no doubt Congress will do that. The democrats have realized it is political suicide to continue to cater to the wants of their lunatic environmental (water melons) faction when the American people want relief in an election year. Their propaganda campaign to shift the blame to other people failed. We know who is screwing us and has been screwing us since they got elected 2 years ago, with the promise to reduce the cost of gas amongst other things, only to double the price of crude in that time with their policies. Of course, do not expect the people in the MSM, nor the democrats, to come clean on this. They want to win in November and would sell us all out if it would get them back power.

UPDATE: Well it looks like Pelosi is playing damn games again. And she is being helped by republicans to screw us all. Here is the gist of it:

Sens. Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson of Georgia, Bob Corker of Tennessee, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and John Thune of South Dakota — remember their names if things go badly for the GOP this November. With the issue of domestic drilling to provide relief for suffering consumers landing right in the laps of embattled congressional Republicans, those five — none of whom faces any immediate danger of losing his seat — decided to join with some crafty Democrats and smash to pieces that gift from the heavens.

The “compromise” they are promoting is actually a wholesale giveaway to Democrats. Touted as a drilling plan, it actually imposes about $84 billion in new taxes on oil companies and keeps the offshore and Arctic National Wildlife Refuge drilling bans. In the five states supposedly being opened to more drilling — Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida — massive regulatory roadblocks and state legislative fights could mean drilling in theory, but precious little in practice. Imposition of an arbitrary 50-mile no-drilling zone denies access to known oil deposits.

Meanwhile, Democrats get oodles of goodies for their environmentalist backers: That $84 billion of the taxpayers’ money will be spent concocting green fuels and designing geekmobiles. These Republicans are placing Sen. John McCain in a tough position. If he supports the plan, he’ll invite the ire of GOP anti-tax crusaders — already uncertain about him for past opposition to the Bush tax cuts. If he opposes it, his claim of being a uniter will be questioned. The five have also done Obama a favor. His support would neutralize drilling as an issue to be used against him and make him look bipartisan.

These GOP stooges could end up being the Five Fingers of Death for their party come November.

This drilling thing is a winner for republicans. The American people want relief and the elitist watermelon democrats want to screw us. Why would these republicans go along with this faux drilling bill that gets us nothing real? Damn it I swear republicans like these are morons and helping democrats destroy us even faster.
