I knew they got it wrong

When I read that media story about how our troops where attacked in a base and had lost the fight, I knew someone was not being accurate, on purpose or simply because they are sloppy, and it now looks like I was right to suspect the MSM was not getting the story right. First off all, the Taliban attacked a parking area, not a fortified position. Second, even though there where a large number of casualties the Taliban was the loser on that end. And finally, the Taliban never won and took over the place like the media claimed. This was the most obvious clue of them all. With all the high tech hardware in place I could not for the life of me understand how the Taliban could keep anything occupied unless we let them have it. The anti-military bias has been shown again in the way this story was reported. Was it just to get eyes on the news or was it on purpose? I bet it was both.
