Remember how the left always likes to tell us about all the rights we have lost while President Bush as been in the WH? They constantly compare the US to Nazi Germany and President Bush to Adolf Hitler. When pressured for details they indubitably invoke the Patriot Act in generic terms, never pointing out that unless you are a terrorist or a terrorist supporter working with them, you have nothing to fear about the Patriot Act. Point that out and you get dismissed. Then they immediately go back on the attack claiming how the country is rounding up dissidents and interring them in camps while brown shirt agents of Bush Administration go around torturing everybody. Of course if pressed for details we find out that there are no camps anywhere. It never registers with these fools that if there where any real camps or credible attempts at censure the people protesting or talking against the government would not get to do so more than once, or not at all. And when pressured to provide facts about the other accusations you eventually get Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo as proof Americans are getting abused. Or lame stories about how Cheney and Rove are silencing the unashamed and biased press. Republicans always steal elections. In short they tell us that all manner of unspeakable evil is going on, but they can never give proof to any of it.

But the left however has been involved in scandalous behavior and yet the idiots constantly proclaiming the abuses never seem to bother with that. We have recently seen a concerted and well orchestrated campaign against a woman that is running as the republican VEEP, not because there is anything really there, but because the left sees a self assured, capable, and self sufficient woman as the most existential threat to their ideological existence. In fact they are so afraid of her that they have engaged in the very tactics they accuse the WH and the right to always use (without ever being able to prove it). Governor Palin has had more rumors fabricated and passed as news stories by a complicit media than anyone I can ever remember. Obama operatives have gone to Alaska to dig up any dirt they can. They are slinging mud wildly and with wanton abandon using both hands and hoping something sticks. They have even hacked her private e-mail account and are making the information they found public and encouraging their people to use them to do damage to Palin, her family, and the McCain campaign. The MSM is ignoring stories of massive voter fraud perpetrated by ACORN, a pseudo–marxist arm of the DNC which specializes in signing up dead, illegal, ineligible, and uninterested people which will vote for democrats if bribed to pad their chances. Today Joe Biden had the temerity to tell people to get ready for much higher taxes and to consider paying them an act of patriotism. This while Obama now tells his people to “Get in the face of the opposition” and fight with them, coming full circle on the Chicago gangster tactics.

The left is getting desperate as they see another election, even with an overwhelming and massive well orchestrated campaign by the MSM to shill for Obama without any pretense of objectivity in conditions that are not very friendly to republicans, slip away. The claws are coming out. Be prepared for some of the most vile and vicious tactics and acts from these desperate collectivists and their camp. It will all be justified as fighting for a good cause. But remember that these people that are willing to do anything for their cause once in power might just keep doing what they do. I wonder how often we will then hear about the real abuses of power. My bet is probably never because the MSM doesn’t think these are such bad things when they are done by “Progressives”. It’s all for a good cause then.....
