Here comes another Dark Age
It is a fact, ignored, glossed over, or refuted only by moronic collectivism embracing idiots that our modern Western world, our very freedoms and quality of life, exists only because of the actions of the United States over the last century. Ask people living in people’s paradises like Cuba or even our neighbors to the south, just to name a couple of places quick and off the top of my head, if you do not believe me. This fact of course pisses off all the people actively rewriting history these days to make America and American interests look bad. If America is an empire, it then truly is the greatest and most beneficial empire ever to have graced this globe. Can anyone imagine, and do so realistically and based on true history, not the pap that these collectivists pass off as history these days, what this planet would look like with out te US? The world would be split between communists and fascists at a minimum. People everywhere would live in misery and under oppression. But according to the collectivists at least they would all have a “level playing field” (equal misery for all!), free healthcare (even when there is none to speak off because there are massive shortages of supplies and skilled healthcare people), free education (more like indoctrination, but its free!), and that’s what counts. Don’t you just take my word for it. Check out what these geniuses have to say:
Film director Ron Howard is “very optimistic” about the future of America, so long as the nation makes an “adjustment,” to fulfill his hope a “more progressive” nation will mean “at a certain point I don’t think we’ll be so consumed with being the pre-eminent super-power and, you know, driven by sort of militarism and this need to export, you know, democracy.” Howard’s reasoning, on Friday night’s Real Time with Bill Maher, came in response to Maher’s formulation that America has “seen better days. We’re sort of in place that has made a lot of people nervous. Some people would say this country has jumped the shark.”
Yeah, that’s worked real well for the world. Now we have pirates telling us they are not afraid of us. Maybe the world would be better off if China was the super power. At least these pirates would be dealt with, shot on sight, their camps bombed, their efforts squashed, they would be driven before the troops, the women and children lamenting the fate of the idiots. My bet is that if Iran was doing this to China, well. Forget it. Iran would never have gotten here. The Chinese would have glassed Iran as soon as the mad man in charge had uttered his first threat. We would all be living in places like this run by people like this. But hey, America is the real villain, because evil capitalism and the American way does not level the playing field! Can one say greed, envy, and jealousy are the prime motivators here? I have already onc eposted on this “level playing field” issue on a blog post over at Right Wing News:
Wow. I am wicked late to this conversation, but I had to comment on the discussion about “level playing field”. Nobody ever can level the playing field, and anyone trying to do so is involved in not only a cynical exercise in futility, but likely knows so. In fact the liberal politicians all give lip service to this “level the playing filed” belief because they know it gives them perpetual power (they get to decide who needs their field leveled, why, and how often).
The fact is that the field can never be leveled. Even if we where able to miraculously level the playing field, lets say we redistributed the entire world’s resources equally across all its people, I guarantee you that things would be different a week from now. The same people that have more today will again have more a few weeks from now, while life’s losers will return to that, some sooner than later. Life is not fair. As was pointed out, despite the bull, and while we all have the same rights, there are always differences. Some people are smarter than others. Some are more industrious. Others simply have a work ethic, while some do not. Some people will wisely invest their money, while some will spend it all on hookers, booze and/or drugs, and a big new Cadillac. What then? Do we reset again?
There is no way to create or guarantee any kind of a level playing field, ever. Too many variables, and the requirement that a perfect and totally unbiased arbiter keep score, make it impossible. And that’s why every attempt to create one, no matter how well intended or noble, indubitably levels the playing field by dragging everyone down into misery. From the USSR to North Korea to Cuba, and everything else in between, the only level playing field is where everyone ends up poor and miserable. Because that’s the only and simple way to level the playing field.
It is not a mistake or coincidence that the very people demanding a level playing field tend to be the ones that, no matter how many chances they are given, end up at the bottom of the rung. It is also not a coincidence that there are so many of them. It is always easier to let others do the work for you. It is also a given that when these people take over and get their way societies eventually implode. Some do it in decades. Some may take a couple of centuries. But this model is unsustainable. And the public school system is the best example of this. Ability, dedication, parental involvement, human nature, all combine to determine the outcome. In fact one could make the argument that today the public school system guarantees a skewed system because it serves politicians, unions, and teachers, not the students or America. No matter how noble or great someone claims this idea of a leveled playing field is, in the end it is a mythological entity. And there will never be anyone that will get it to work. Said being would have to be divine, and God, if you want to believe in a higher power, has already told us that he didn’t want that job when we got free will.
That’s why I so seriously oppose this crap. And it is crap, no matter how palatable the people selling it make it sound, plain and simple. Especially when the left preaches about it, but never tells the people that the only level playing field they can deliver, the one they have delivered every time they have tried, everywhere they have tried, is one where we are all poor, miserable, and oppressed slaves of the elite leveling the field. Color me stupid for actually thinking that the left lying this way is actually more evil than someone that actually tells you he intends to abuse and oppress you. At least the later one is being honest.
There is no way to dispute this obvious fact. The people engaging in this hyperbole and wishing America was no longer a super power, because they feel that’s why the world is such a bad place, and that democracy and the American way where not follwed, are simply idiots. They will all claim to be “positive” and have “hope”, fantasizing about a better future. Logic, facts, reason, and accurate historical analogies will never be part of their progressive vision. That’s on purpose. If they actually were forced to base their beliefs on reality and not fantasy, they would have to abandon the idiocy they preach. The people wishing for the American age to come to pass should be taken to task. The world they envision when this happens is a great lie. When America no longer leads we will again be plunged into a Dark Age. And that Dark Age is coming faster than you think off.

Yeah sure…
As a catholic myself I find it ironic that one of the richest institutions in the world, the catholic church, is telling us we should give up money. This strikes me as being as serious as having Warren Buffet telling people to stay poor. The catholic church has swung drastically into socialist territory since John Paul let the Jesuits take over so much of the church and frankly this stuff scares the living daylights out of me. It is always really easy to tell people not to do something you yourself do not need to do.

I think this was pretty clever..
Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn reminded Mrs. Pelosi that someone already had saved the planet 2000 years ago. Now this is obviously a left leaning blog and the commentary bears it out. They are all pissed she dared inject religion into this argument, and so I could not help but chuckle at the irony. I mean, these watermelons - green on the outside, but scratch the surface and you find that hard core collectivist red ideology is behind the entire movement- have turned this MMGW thing into a cult. Cults, even if it involves a stretch to make it so, are a form of religious expression aren’t they? Either you have faith in MMGW or you do not.
Yeah, they claim to have science on their side, but anyone that has a scientific background and is not a moonbat or looking to cash in on this MMGW scam, knows that the science they claim to have on their side is completely bogus. The doomsday scenarios that the MMGW cult is selling are based on false computer models they will not share and completely ignores solar activity, focusing on CO2 at the exclusion of all else, precisely because they can then target energy, in order to frighten believers into handing government absolute power to redistribute the world’s wealth (while making the ones doing the redistribution immensely wealthy and powerful bosses). So Pelosi now trying to set herself up as a cardinal of the MMGW cult wants to be one of the elites saving the planet, and got spanked by another person using another religious belief, and the left is pissed and demanding religion be kept out of politics. How freaking idiotic when the MMGW cult is a religion in itself?
The donkeys are hard at work screwing the American people on this. They do not want us to remain energy independent. Control the availability of energy, and you can really control all aspects someone’s life. Screw these cultists.

MMGW unraveling..
It looks like the powers that be - the people that are telling us all that unless we allow them to take over, redistribute wealth, and tell us all what we can or can not do - are now going to get it because of their attempt to silence debate. That link is to a paper by Lord Christopher Monckton of Brenchley totally dismantling the lies that this watermelon cult - green (environmentalists) on the outside, but dark red (communists) inside - where they despite review and back and forth have added a comment claiming that what was presented was not reviewed when it was. Seems this has truly and seriously pissed off Lord Monckton, as it should, and he has fired back with force. See what you have here is people playing politics with science. It seems that the collectivists on the left only like to claim the infallibility of science when it supports their agenda, but as soon as it does not, they dismiss it and spurn any real science with a level of furor that would shame the most devout inquisitors.
The left needs a crisis that is so large that nothing but giving them power to enact drastic and global changes will suffice. It found that “scare fare” in the MMGW crap: a new religion. Suddenly they could claim man was faced with a global extinction event that only they could address. Of course it is all made up as anyone that has some inkling of a scientific background, and no attachment to the collectivist agenda of the left of course, can immediately surmise. All solutions seem to be of a sociological kind: wealth redistribution by a global government that will enact strict and economically devastating measures that will do away with the free market economies we know and see work today. Never any kind of real engineering solutions of course, although occasionally they tout the need for “alternative energy sources”, as one small piece of their solution. Dig deep however, and you will see that these “alternative energy solutions” are akin to faerie dust and magic: unable to really meet the existing demand, let alone future demands, unless we want to give up on our modern industrialized nations. Notice that when I say “we” I mean we the people. The “leaders” that would step up and take over this world would certainly never live by the same standards and restrictions they will impose on us as is already clear from their behavior right now. Basically we would recreate the USSR, but globally.
The APS is pretending like they want to be scientific and objective about this debate, but it seems they are not able to walk away from the rampant and overwhelming bias. MMGW is a dastardly and horrible cult: one that threatens our very existence. The left is right when they tell us our existence depends upon addressing MMGW. Only the disastrous consequences will not come from us avoiding what they propose, but actually following their advice and doing what they want. Science must step up and destroy these idiots that are lying about the science to advance a horribly evil agenda.

This is how they “negotiate” with Infidels they hate
Maybe Obama can take a hint of what his “talks with Iran” will look like from this news piece about the bombing of the Danish embassy in Pakistan because of some cartoons. These fanatics mean business. They get pissed at anything that they claim to feel insults from and then murder and destroy. You can not talk them down. Remember their anger here is over some cartoon. Can you imagine this kind of response let say from Catholics over some cartoon depicting Jesus in a negative way? Of course not! That is why those cowardly lib retards in the MSM have no problem taking pot-shots at Christians. They get angry and complain. Now the Muslim fanatics kill your ass when you piss them off, so cowardly collectivist scum will prefer to kiss their ass than confront their evil. When Obama shows up to talk the Iranians will tell him “Death to America! Death to Israel! Bow to Islam or perish!” and he of course will have nothing better to do than cave in. Then once we claim Iran is our ally, he might change his mind, and like when he made the comment that he would feel fine attacking Pakistan, an ally that has nuclear weapons, he might do something about Iran. Or maybe he will let them wipe Israel off the planet and hope that blood will be enough to at least keep them off our backs while he is in the WH. Of course the libs in the MSM will never go there because they are experiencing a religious epiphany with the second coming of Lenin in Obama.

Moderate Islam? Where are they?
You constantly hear talk from the left how people that claim there is a problem with islam are crazy for painting all members of that religion with a broad and horrible brush, but when you see stories like this it is hard to make the case that something is not amiss with Islam. The question begs to be asked and answered why the members of Islam seem to suffer from such lack of confidence in their own beliefs. Or is it a deepseeded need for violence? If Christians got ticked off and thought every time they felt someone insulted some part of their religion blood had to be shed, you know that the very same people pointing out how it is wrong to say Islam has problems would be screaming at the top of their lungs about the evils of Christianity. or maybe they would not. There is a lot to be said about the fact that Christianity is an easy target precisely because those that follow it do not take to the streets and demand blood whenever they feel slighted.
Anyway, the reaction to this is simply astounding. These people want to kill this woman. They are not happy with an appology of any kind. That says something about them. There is a reason that in Islamic countries it is against the law to have any other kind of religious material. There is a reason that in Islamic countries one can not build houses of worship that are not mosques. There is a reason that in Islamic countries, and they believe this applies even outside their countries, that anyone that abandons Islam -i.e. converts - is basically sentenced to death. The same reason is behind this reaction. Islam is simply intollerant and still trapped in the Dark Ages. Those that follow it are filled with hatered as a matter of course. This crap about Islam being peaceful is just that: crap. The proof is ample that Islam is a dangerous and scary cult. If I heard Christians were demanding someone be killed over somthing this stupid, I would be front and center making the case that those people were neither Christian nor my peers. Where have the moderate Islamic community members demanding these crazy bastards go home been? Be weary…
