Government efficiency

Some German politician got in huge trouble because he tried to come up with a way to help the poor. Unfortunately what he suggested involved them working. So that immediately became a no-no.

A Berlin politician has come under fire for suggesting that poor people should be encouraged to catch rats by offering them €1 per dead rodent. The intriguing idea entails some gnawing practical problems and has been called “inhuman and cynical”. Picture the scene—hundreds of poor people armed with clubs chasing rats through the streets of Berlin.

There’s something Dickensian about the notion, but it has been proposed by a Berlin politician who is now being criticized for suggesting that the city’s poor should be enlisted to tackle the growing rat infestation in the center of the German capital. “Especially people who usually collect bottles could get one euro for every dead rat,” Henner Schmidt, head of the business-friendly Free Democrat party in the Mitte district of Berlin, told Berliner Kurier newspaper this week.

So he comes up with a welfare scam to pay these people, and the offense is that he dared demand they actually do work to get cash! Don’t you know it is inhumane to demand people do anything to get paid? And what was he thinking anyway? Kill rats? Animal cruelty! Off with his head! Doesn’t this enlightened servant of the public know how you really solve financial problems and help the poor? New York does: tax everything that moves so you can, as Obama put it, spread the wealth. This guy is a crook, but he is small potatoes compared to the crooks in politics. You want to see how to really hose people, I mean those that work for a living, check this out.

This is why I am happy he lost

I voted for McCain because I thought the alternative was worse. Frankly now that it is all over I am starting to feel that maybe the best thing possible was for McCain to lose. When he does idiotic shit like this, to play it up to the bastards in the MSM whom only like him when he is stabbing conservatives in the back and helping the left’s cause, I kind of am happy he is not the president. He would be doing this shit in the WH and forever screwing the right. And no, I have wondered if I was just thinking this way to overcome the fact McCain lost, but indubitably I always come back to the fact that with the economy and the world heading to hell the best thing for the right is to have a totally unproved and likely incapable unknown like our president elect to be the one that gets blamed for the mess. Oh sure, the MSM and the left will blame Bush. Just like they are doing right now even when it is obvious that it is their people that have done this to us. But that will eventually mean nothing. People will want action. And when they et to experience first hand how the left’s solutions never do anything but create the illusion of progress while dragging us all back, I am glad they will not be blaming a socialist like McCain, but a true communist like Obama.

The fact is that if Obama was involved in this mess, and he is from Chicago where this shit Blago has been caught in is SOP, then we the people deserve to know it. Especially when this master manipulator, with the help from the MSM of course, has been so successful at lying about their intentions to change things. Oh, change is coming, but change for the worse. Get used to this shit. This is what the left really is about: elitists that think they know best what is best for everyone, think they deserve better than the rest, feel the end justifies the means, and most importantly believe that the rules do not apply to them. Get ready for 4 years that will look the whole Clinton scandal ridden tenure look like a pleasant jot in the park. Besides, after 8 years of BDS and scorched earth leftist tactics, a little payback is going to be sweet. It is one thing to accuse the other side of all manner of failures, while of course undermining them at every point in order to then be able to say “I told you so once they fail”, and it s another entirely to have to call the shots. Now the left gets to call the shots and take the blame. We are currently experiencing another of the myriad consequences of the disastrous Clinton years. Sure the republicans where no angels, but the democrats have given us this economic disaster, and no matter how well they or their lap dogs in the MSM lie and divert them are the facts. This is going to be fun.

This is how the left censors what they disagree with..

Beware the future.. Google, yeah the same group of bastards that help some of the worlds vilest and most oppressive governments, has admitted they its staff will pick and choose what appears in its search results. It’s a historic statement - and nobody has yet grasped its significance. Google is run by leftist twits. The same kind of people that run our education system, both our primary public schools and our universities & colleges, and decide what people are allowed to learn or not. So now we find out Google’s people play with search results. Want to bet their decision making is driven by their progressive beliefs & agenda? Information & knowledge are power. Control that and you can manipulate people. We just saw how our media manipulated the news and allowed a democrat to buy the election. I am afraid this was just the start of somethign worse.

Not surprised at all…

Looks like another democrat was caught doing something highly illegal. Of course you will not find out that we are discussing a democrat from this article because that is never mentioned. But to people that are used to this kind of slanted coverage this fact was obvious. You see, if this had been about a republican that would have been mentioned for sure. That’s how you know you are dealing with a democrat. If you are dealing with a republican or conservative that has committed a crime or is alleged to have done something bad or criminal, that will be mentioned in the article. If you see no party affiliation, you have a democrat. Here is another article that does the same. This guy won that office in Ohio by running on the fact that Ryan, the previous guy, was a crook. Guess he was trying to live up to that standard. BTW. When the MSM wrote about Ryan they never failed to mention he was a republican and to exaggerate the chares. Now they are all subdued about this because the stink is already reaching all the way up to the democrat that has not even taken the WH yet, despite the fact he claims that he was not involved. Obama is going to make Bill Clinton look like a piker. This stuff is only the top of the iceberg! The real ironic thing is that Fitzgerald, he of the famous Plame case that screwed Scooter Libby just so the left could claim that their stupid assertion the WH leaked Plame’s identity got get some cred (the record shows Armitage was the leaker and Fitzgerald knew that 1 day into the investigation), is investigating this thing. I wonder how quickly the left will turn on him now. And how well will the MSM report on the details considering it is their own that are going to get creamed. Hah, change indeed!

UPDATE: Well it looks like Blago was not looking for chump change but threw big bucks. Of course Team Obama is in full spin and “throw the guy under the bus” mode, but even the MSM will have a hard time trying to convince people this was not business as usual in Chicagowith all participants being involved. And I guess Blago took a look at how Charley Rangel is dealing with his plethora of scandals, and like a good democrat refused to just resign. After all, what’s in it for Blago if he resigns? Obama’s people might want this to go away quick, but if I was Blago I would fight tooth & nail to make sure Obama does not throw me under the bus. Hang on to your seats people because Obama’s scandals, yes there are a ton of them, are going to make Bill Clinton look like a choir boy. Hoo boy!

Marxist tells you not to worry about him taking power???

Obama must be kidding: Don’t worry about him taking power, and stop buying guns? You are kidding right? Why would you say something like that? This stuff makes me worried. What’s next? Don’t worry, I have ordered all guns registered and then confiscated for your own good?

Rich people bought the election…

The left always likes to tell you how the rich fat cats buy elections. Well the truth is they where right about that since in the 2008 Obama outspent McCain by 4 to 1. Now I am sure that these collectivists will tell you that it was the little people that make that happen, but don’t be fooled. There is a reason people that want to score big rob banks and stores and not people living in the projects.

Obama brought in $291 million between Sept. 1 and Nov. 24 and spent $349 million, helped by funds left over from a primary battle that began in February 2007, his campaign said. McCain, a Republican senator from Arizona, spent $78.9 million of the $84.1 million he received in public financing.

The president-elect shattered fundraising records, toting up donations of $746 million for the primary and general campaigns. Obama previously reported raising $642 million through Oct. 15. The campaigns reported their final totals yesterday to the Federal Election Commission.

Obama, 47, was the first major party nominee to bypass taxpayer funding for the general election, and his large base of donors gave him a massive advantage over McCain. During the last six weeks of the campaign, the Democrat was able to run twice as many commercials as McCain, 72, according to the Nielsen Co.

There you have it. And lets not forget that Obama promised not to bypass taxpayer funding. I guess this broken promise should have been a harbrinnger for his fans of how many of his campaign promises he intended to keep. One thing that this article does not address is the massive amount of online contributions through credit cards that Obama scored. Not to mention that the security function of their credit card site was disabled and Obama’s people where able to collect donations without knowing how many came from people violating the limits, the laws about who can donate (like foreigners), and a whole other slew of nasty illegalities we will never find out about now that Obama won. I have a feeling that these people that so hungered for change might not like the change they end up getting. Then again, democrats love to talk like the other side is the corrupt one but then go about being four times as dirty. They count on a pass from the MSM & their fans when they do this stuff.

Talk about being seriously messed up…

Man I am glad I am not a muslim living in one of these countries with long and old traditions. This stuff explains a lot of the frustration and anger that seem to grip these people. I too would be pissed at the world and looking to kill people if I was subjected to this kind of crap. Can i judge this culture to be bancrupt yet? Then again, we here have politicans that think they are royalty. Case in point Harry Reid whom is happy he does not have to smell the peasants anymore. Of course we still need to live with the massive BS coming from Harry and Nancy which makes anything else pale in comparison. Talk about messed up. Can you imagine the uproar if a republican or conservative had been so condesending to the unwashed masses? Fear the liberal elites and those bearded and turbaned freaks man.
