Could not put this better myself…

The more I look at this rediculous bail out the more I agree that tis sounds like a victory for marxists. I know they are redoing this monster, but there is no way I see this as anything but a victory for socialism. These bastards are busy playing politics with our money, and they are pissing me off. I am sure Pelosi would like veryone to think that people are pissed becuase of republicans, but democrats have been setting the direction in Congress for 2 years now. And since they started at it things have gone south. The parasistes in Congress, especially amongst the democrats whom have created the false illusion this was caused by capitalism, Wall Street, the greed of (conservative) people that did not think high taxes are patriotic, or all of these, but the ones that are facing re-election know this crap is seriously unpopular. And the guy they are trying to help get elected by playing these political games wants this to pass fast. Guess he needs to have this happen so he and the other democrats can continue to claim this was not a problem of their making and that while they are the ones giving government all this power the republicans need to be balmed. The big claim is that so much wealth is now gone. It will come back sometime later. Maybe someone should ask Obama how he plans to pay for his collectivist handouts after this crisis? Not expecting the MSM to ask this stuff though.

Don’t wait for the MSM to tell you this…

Remember that Obama “I have a bracelet too! Erm, ah erm and, erm ah erm.. (let me take a look)” moment? It was just as a fake as the rest of what Obama said.

Barack Obama played the “me too” game during the Friday debates on September 26 after Senator John McCain mentioned that he was wearing a bracelet with the name of Cpl. Matthew Stanley, a resident of New Hampshire and a soldier that lost his life in Iraq in 2006. Obama said that he too had a bracelet. After fumbling and straining to remember the name, he revealed that his had the name of Sergeant Ryan David Jopek of Merrill, Wisconsin.

Shockingly, however, Madison resident Brian Jopek, the father of Ryan Jopek, the young soldier who tragically lost his life to a roadside bomb in 2006, recently said on a Wisconsin Public Radio show that his family had asked Barack Obama to stop wearing the bracelet with his son’s name on it. Yet Obama continues to do so despite the wishes of the family.

Radio host Glenn Moberg of the show ”Route 51” asked Mr. Jopek, a man who believes in the efforts in Iraq and is not in favor of Obama’s positions on the war, what he and his ex-wife think of Obama continually using their son’s name on the campaign trail.

Obama does not care what the soldier’s family really want, it is about being able to say I am not an anti-military marxist stooge because I got a bracelet too! This is a despicable thing. But I doubt we will see any commentary about this from the MSM because it hurts the false and ludicrous image Obama gives a shit about our troops. Nobody that claims they support the troops but want them to lose/fail at their mission - be it in Iraq or anywhere else, and no matter what the bull they tell you is the reason for it - is being honest.

Just wow..

This time, because Obama and his people where not already runnign the show someone was able to stop a blatant attempt to silence his opponents. Basically Obama agents have co-opted agents of the law to intimidate and silence anyone that might point out Obama is a marxist shill. What is to stop these people from claiming anything they do not like is a falsehood, remember that the left reserves the right to come up with their own facts (lies) whenever they need to win an argument, and shutting the people speaking up down? Frankly nothing. The left does used to be able to shut people up by just making an accusation that claimed their opponent was lying and being a racist/sexist/homophobe/corporatist to shame them into submission. But this has not worked well for a while now, so they have taken it to the next level. All they need to do is silence you for a few weeks while they help their guy win and by then who cares if you where right or not anymore. well, except you should because when they have power they can then take real action. And do not expect the MSM to ever point this out. They are rooting for Obama and likely think this move was a great idea.

Here are the facts…

Democrat operatives have been telling everyone how bad the last 8 years have been for us all. they accuse republicans, accurately, of growing government and excessive spending, and then try to convince people they will do better. The facts speak differently. Look the democrats have been spending even more than the republicans did since they took Congress in 2006. And they do not even have control of all branches of government yet like they are currently shooting for. Can you imagine how much more spending we will get? Especially after Obama promised to give everyone everything for free if they just elected him in the debate last night. In fact since the democrats won in 2006 our economy has tanked, energy costs are out of control, and we almost lost in Iraq. But they blame Bush for everything and stupid people do not see how they are the ones causing the damage. Now I am not making excuses for republicans that have been just terrible at keeping down spending, but I will be damned if I will let democrats claim they will do better when it is so obvious they will not just do worse, but they will tank our economy with over taxation to cover for their disastrous policies.

Why we should all be happy McCain halted this bill..

The left is up in arms and trying to blame John McCain for stopping this boondoggle bill dead in its tracks, but have a look at what the democrats where trying to get away with, and see why this thing being dead right now is a blessing. basically the collectivists have created provisions to siphon billions to organizations that help them steal elections by promoting voter fraud and to people that will continue to promote the very practices that brought us this crisis. Thank God this bill is not yet law. And lets hope it gets creamed and dies a horrible death. No way should we tax payers help the democrats screw us even harder. Don’t expect the media to point any of this crap out however.

Who won the first debate?

I watched that debate in its entirety and I think John McCain won it hands down. Obama looked smug, incompetent, and like he was the “me too!” candidate. The losers in the MSM are sure spinning this debate in Obama’s favor, but this was McCain’s debate to lose after he said he was staying in DC to solve the economic crisis. The usual suspects in the MSM where already hoping their boy could then take McCain down after their heavy propaganda campaign to make it look like McCain had derailed the bailout. Frankly I am glad McCain stopped that boondoggle because we the tax payers where about to get raped by democrats whom had told republicans they HAD to go along with the vote to approve the package so they would not be exposed as the people really behind this disaster. Anyway, want a feel for how that debate went? Check this out:

McCain beat the pants off Obama, but the orchestrated campaign by the MSM to make it look otherwise seems to be having its effect for now. Obama didn’t do as bad as I expected because he likely was drilled well. The fact he stayed on the usual talking points and collectivist generalizations, never being able to go into details without having to look it up (Ehrm ahr, I have a military guy too, erm, ah, let me look down ehrm, ah oh yeah, SSG erhm, ah.. get the point?), is proof of that. He gets credits for being able to pull that off. But anyone looking for substance saw nothing but the same democrat anger in the “We hate Bush and we want you to believe that McCain=Bush so you hate em too” psycho meme and the usual collectivist “I will give everyone free everything” bull after Obama tried to skirt the fact there was no way he could deliver even a fraction of what he has promised because of the massive cost. For the “Hope & Change” or “Change & Hope” guy, I did not see much difference between Obama and Lenin/Mao. They also promised their people the same stuff and then delivered hell.

How our economy lost it’s groove..

The sad fact is that people saw this coming and republicans tried to correct it only to be blocked by democrats whom used PC knock down tactics to intimidate and shut up anyone that would not let their scheme keep makign them big cash! Remember that these are the same people blocking our change in energy policy, reform of Soical Security, Medicare, and all those other colelctivist boondoggles. This crisis is just the first one. Their constant attempts to block any and all proposals to dirll at home for natural gas & oil, build more nukes, and use our coal are going to basically cripple this nation in a decade or so. And I think that is exactly the plan because then government can take everything over. By then we will likely get taken over by the people that have told us to either submit to Allah or die and these democrats will welcome it.

Want to see what fascism really looks like?

Just check this out. That is what it looks like. When someone that wants to be the president sicks lawyers at people and threatens to punish them for telling the truth about them you are looking at real fascism. The left accuses the right, and especially Bush of fascism, only they actually do fascist things..... Be scared. Be very scared if these people win.

This crisis brought to you by the DNC.

We the people are gonna get hosed. Unfortunately for us all this housing bubble burst right in the middle of an election year in which the MSM is hard at work helping their zealously angry democrat haters to bamboozle all sane people into electing an inexperienced marxist lawyer that has no respect for the Constitution to the WH. So the real story of how we got stuck with this mess will never happen. They are hard at work trying to create the illusion that this disaster is the fault of capitalism, evil conservative policies, and especially Wall Street. Dig a bit however, and you can easily find that these greedy Wall Street fat-cats that the left blames are mostly democrats and also heavy contributors to the democratic party themselves. They are also desperately trying to create links to McCain, even going so far as claiming McCain has relationship with some of the people at the bottom of this problem, while completely ignoring the fact Obama not only has even more and current links, but is one of the biggest recipients of financial largesse (lobbying) by the culprits.

Look people, we are where we are because Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, by Congressional decree, started lending to people they should never have given loans to: people that could not pay the loans. This regulatory change allowed mortgage issuers/lenders to basically saturate the market with paper & practiced that made huge money in the short run, but then eventually led to disaster. That prosperity didn’t happen during the Clinton years by coincidence. Everything during those years was about making short term gains that would make things look good while leaving the long term problems for someone else to deal with. And we are there now. They will try hard to pin this on Bush. To do so they will ignore that Bush and other republicans, including McCain tried to have these practices investigated as far back as 2003 so changes could be made to stave off this very disaster, only to be rebuffed by congressional democrats - Barney Franks & Chris Dodd in particular - whom where the lead scammers and profiting greatly from this risky behavior. One can go on and on about this, but there is no doubt the democrats are behind this disaster. Frankly this is turning out to be a win-win for them because now they also get to enact a massive socialist bailout which will eventually put all these institution under government control.

While we probably will find a way out of this crisis, at the tax payers expense of course and with all the guilty people actually making out like bandits anyway, there is an important message we should not miss. This is not the only or last crisis we will have to deal with. And it is far from being the biggest. Remember that Bush also tried to reform Social Security. That is also a disaster waiting to happen, and it will dwarf the current crisis. And our energy situstion is completely manufactured by democrats whom want to control us all. We are going to be shafted because of the last 40 years of enviro-whacco policies that have compeltely screwed our energy generating & distribution capability. And nobody wants to confront the impossible Medicare obligations.

Oh, we will have the MSM and democrats demand all kinds of government involvement to make sure a similar crisis, they created this one but are doing a great job of blaming others for it, never happens again. What we will get is more ways for democrats in government to rob us blind and force more socialism, and the misery that always accompanies it, on us. We are getting hosed. And if Obama wins because of the smear campaign we will get hosed even worse.

UPDATE: Have a look at the ONLY network reporting the truth behind this collectivist ideology’s economic crisis. This was the work of PC collectivists not capitalism.

No more of the same?

One of the big questions from the collectivist left in this coming election has been “Do you want more of the same Bush stuff?”. Frankly this question should really be asked and looked at. But not the way these collectivists intended it. Let me explain & elaborate. How well off where you before the left pulled this “We need to change course” in 2006 compared to now? Think about that. Since the left told us we should not want anymore of Bush in 2006 and they won those elections big, how well have thins been going? How has the economy worked? What about gas and energy pricing? How well is Iraq, where the left wanted us to lose mind you, going? The job market? Your investments? There is a clear cut point where and when things started going south: the 2006 elections where the winners ran on “No more Bush”. Now they are again telling us they want more of that. Obama’s campaign is about “Change & Hope”. Have you been looking at what kind of change we will get since these people where given partial power in 2006? And that “Hope” they are talking about must be about how they hope you do not catch on to them. Personally I am not sure I can do with things getting even worse then they are now. How about you?

Economic news…

If this is being done to find out if there really was some illegal stuff being done, then I am all for it. But if as I suspect this is just driven by the usual collectivist politicians playing CYA and looking for scapegoats on Wall Street so they can demonize capitalism, then I see a pox on their house. We are where we are because politicians that wanted to appear like they are populists passed boneheaded legislation basically dictating that banks would have to give out loans to high risk people. Eventually over a decade or so Fanny Mae & Freddie Mac accumulated enough of these bad loans to require government intervention to save them. In the mean time a bunch of the banks that went along with this loans to people that could or would not pay back got hit and the snowball kept rolling.

Frankly I am with Congress on their refusal to pay out right now. If for example a ton of this money is going to prop up Lehman brothers which handed out $2.3 billion in bonuses & payouts to their NY people and then declared bankruptcy I do not want my tax dollars going to that. Especially since it then might encourage more of these institutions to do such idiotic things. I am with the group that sees this as a disastrous move towards “financial socialism”. I understand the snowball effect from problems stemming form the Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae debacle, but I still do not like it one bit. This is the way capitalists should be fixing this issue. Not with tax payer money. Especially since the problem was caused by stupid government regulation and stupid collectivists trying to look good while really raking in the cash for themselves. Why do we tax payers have to pay for this crap?

At least on the bright side the democrats where thwarted in their attempt to continue to screw Americans with their anti-energy policies. The expiration of this dastardly stupid ban on drilling might finally open the door to the US getting back in the business of finding and pumping its own oil, and that should drop the oil prices back to some what decent levels. It will obviously not solve our long term problems. We will need a crash program to drastically increase our production of energy away from imported resources. And before the leftist econ-nuts get going the viable technologies are nuclear, liquefied coal, and yes, our own oil & natural gas, with solar, wind, and whatever other fearie dust bull the left tries to sell as viable as supplemental. Of course we will also need some major upgrades to our power distribution network and also the construction of at least another couple of refineries to make sure we are not at the mercy of whatever natural events that constantly cause the massive fluctuations in gas prices and availability.

UPDATE: Larry Kudlow seems to opine that Paulson’s plan is on the ball. I am not saying he is not there, but I am not liking the idea that we are not bitch slapping Lehman for doling out $2.3 billion in bonuses & pay outs and then declaring bankruptcy. I do not want my tax dollars paying for this kind of practice. In fact if I was a stockholder I would be mega pissed at these bastards.

UPDATE: Looks like Paulson has finally accepted that paying compensation to execs is a non-starter and that president Bush will now address the public on this issue. I am still not liking this bail out but at this point the consequences of not doing anything would be disastrous. Now if we can make sure that Congress does not screw us again…

Oh hell no!

I am one of the firmest believers in the capitalist system and one of the few people that usually bother to defend the system paying big money to capable people, but the news that Lehman Brothers plans to give $2.5 billion dollars in bonuses to N.Y. staff just rubs me the wrong way. In fact it pisses me off beyond belief. Didn’t these bastards just declare bankruptcy? How can they do this to their share holders? Frankly I am was opposed to any kind of bail until I realized the cascading damage that the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac disaster was wreaking, but I am even more opposed to the bail out of any company that is pulling stunts like this. The government should demand those bonuses be returned to the stock holders because this is a ridiculous situation where people got screwed once by incompetent and greedy management destroying an investment they might have had and then the government giving them another shafting to help keep the company these idiots ran into the ground alive.

In fact it angers me doubly that the market is holding us hostage to pay these bail outs. Why the hell do we need government bail outs in a capitalist system? I know that it was government, and primarily the collectivists and their PC bull, that set the lending institutions on a path to certain disaster, but I am extremely uncomfortable with Wall Street now holding us hostage if the government does not come in to save them from horrible decisions. It stinks. And I guarantee you that it will lead to more idiotic laws intending to stop this from happening again, but that will make this kind of thing even more frequent or cause an even greater problem. Government intervention indubitably leads to calamity down the road.

Of course some people are both trying to gain politically from this and lying through their teeth> Democrats, and especially marxist democrats (same thing I know), will never cut any spending other than defense. I do not expect Obama to do anything but that either. He will then drastically increase taxes and spend even more on collectivism. The end result will put us in an even worse place than we are right now. We are reaping the false bubble of the Clinton economic years, and I bet we will learn nothing from it. In the mean time, the real problem, the increase in the price of energy and the fact we can not avoid inflation because of it, remains unanswered. The democrats passed a non-drilling drilling bill, and we are not seeing any kind of real energy solution. Likely because they need the economy to completely tank so they can come in and let government take it all over.

We got here because of the democrats

The MSM machine has been spinning hard and the Obama campaign has tried their best to blame Bush and capitalism for the horrible economic meltdown we are facing, but the facts are indisputable: this crisis was brought to us by democrats. Seriously, we can thank the crisis we are in to decisions that made democrats, especially during the Clinton “boom” years, look real good good in the short run, but then came back to kill us as the house of cards they created imploded. At least Greenspan is coming back and admitting that we are paying for their sins now. Of course the European collectivists are trying to make it like their system of government control is better, but they are basically barking up the wrong tree. Our problem is not capitalism, but the horrible gambles and stupidity that allowed Fannie Mae & Freddy Mac to give out all those home loans to unqualified people. And while I understand what the President is trying to do when he asks for quick action, I am disgusted that we the tax payers are bailing out people that played fast & loose because of government mandates. All so some damn politicians could claim they should have a good legacy. I think we should all now be able to agree that the Clinton years where nothing but smoke & mirrors. And we are still not dealing with the consequence of the drastic jump in energy prices. We might try to play games to stop inflation, but it is inevitable. Of course the left is playing gammes with our energy situation, because they like to control people, and nothing gives you more control over people than their energy consumption.

UPDATE: Yeah we are where we are because of people that do not want to accept reality.
