Democrts have an energy solution!
Two years ago democrats promised us citizens that if they got elected to the majority in Congress they would change many things including the cost of Gasoline. I never bought any of their promises. I have seen democrats in action and frankly whatever they do ends up hurting us sooner or later. Two years after the fact we now of course we know know they lied their asses off about most of it. They passed a minimum wage hike that helped their union buddies but in general screwed most entry level people looking for that first minimum wage job, and in these economic days where energy costs are spiraling out of control and leading to inflation and a slow down, is likely to be hurting us badly. Other than that I do not remember anything they did. Well they did double the price of gas in 2 years. Not what they promised to do but what they really wanted to do. Don’t believe me? Have a look at Harry Reid, the democratic majority Senate lead, this real financial scandal. Basically a whole bunch of democrats that promised to clean up from government corruption to gas prices if they got elected in 2006 are involved in a deal that will make tax payers pay $300 billion dollars to bail out companies that had given these democrats very favorable loans. Of course we know that it is the very stuff democrats have done to the lending industry that has caused this crisis, but do you think the MSM will report either that fact or how they are now bilking us all to pay for these mistakes? Not a chance. This is not republicans that can be painted as crooks so no show.
Speaking of shows: does anyone remember the promise to fix Gas prices that these democrats made if we but elected them to Congress in 2006? Gas is now double the price it was when we elected them. Then again everything they promised us has gone south, including the economy. Of course they and the MSM blame Bush, and if you get your facts from them you do not know better. Remember that when you cast your vote in 2008.

If we won’t do it at least we can hope they do..
I am becoming more and more concerned that the Bush Administration has lost the will to stop Iran from getting nukes. I know your usual brain damaged leftists collectivists retard will tell you that the US has nukes, India & Pakistan have nukes, China has nukes, and evil Israel also has nukes, so why can’t Iran get them? As if Iran has not made it a point that they have regional ambitions they plan to achieve through the use of terrorist proxies and want oil at $350+ a barrel. Oh yeah, and the destruction of Israel. I do not recall any of the nuclear powers ever stating their reason for going nuclear was to wipe some other nation of the earth. Even Pakistan went nuclear simply because it knew that because it was an Islamic nation and thus limited it’s potential for economic growth, it could not compete with democratic India unless it had them. The North Koreans have been a pain, but that place is imploding. Sooner or later China will have to go in and clean house. But the Iranians relish the idea of using their nukes. Even worse, giving them to a third party that can deploy them and leave enough doubt about where they came from anywhere in the world (including other Arab states opposed to Iran’s plans). In short, Iran’s nuclear ambitions are a guaranteed destabilization of the Middle East and a precursor to a nuclear world war.
Thank god that Israel, which is in the Iranian crosshairs, can not take the risk and will act. If we do not have the balls to do it we should at least let Israel do it. And help them too. Like their 1981 attack that denied Saddam the capability to build a bomb. This is another gift to the world. Of course the usual scum and the UN will all condemn Israel while breathing a sight of relief. Yeah, even the other Arabs states around Iran will do so. In fact I bet many of them would aid Israel in such an attack if they could hide it. They are the ones that fear Iranian ambitions & plans the most. What a screwed up world.

Faster Please!
I am sure the enviro-whackos and the usual collectivist bastards all will get in a huff over things like this, but all you have to do is remind them that had we ignored their comments a decade or even 5 years ago that it would do not be of any immediate help, we would not be where we are today. Start drilling. Build refineries. Build nuclear plants. Stop the enviro-whackos from sending us all back to living in caves and being beholden to their eleit running the government. John McCain is definitely not my first choice, but he is right about Obama, and that is why I do not want Obama. I prefer not to be beholden to government for my existence and do not like the idea of being equally misserable with the losers that support Obama.

McCain finally gets it: Obama more of the same anti-US Marxism
McCain which used to be one of the people in Congress blocking US oil exploration has finally realized the damage that has done and has now finally switched his position in favor of drilling. Frankly had we listened to the people telling us to drill 10 years ago, we would not be in the position where hostile OPEC members are able to create constant turmoil and drive speculation to the ridiculous numbers we currently see, but I guess better late then never. And do not let that idiotic argument that it will not provide help in the short run dissuade us. That is what they used 10 years ago to stop us from drilling. Can anyone deny that we would be better off now had we drilled back then?
We need an energy policy for the country. It should involve a massive drive to build some 200 new nuclear power plants based on carbon encased Uranium pellets (minimal to no nuclear waste!) over the next 2 decades, as much drilling for gas & oil as we can, including shale oil production, and research into how to create cleaner and more efficient fuels from coal, oil and some alternative bio fuels that do not require food stuff to make. Maybe some research in geothermal or tide based technologies which can produce large enough amounts of energy. Solar and wind, the 2 things the enviro-whackos are pushing hard for, will never meet the required needs. At best these technologies will serve as supplemental energy sources, and then only at a local level. The cost for them vs. the return is just too iffy. Which is precisely why I believe the enviro-whackos that want to stick us all with socialist government control of every aspect of our lives like them.
The left of course continues to blame the petro industry for the high prices. Biggest lies ever told. First off the largest American oil company, Exxon-Mobil - is ranked 14th in the world behind some ridiculously large colossuses that are all state owned. China and France have large government owned and controlled oil industries and companies. Many of the largest oil finds made recently where by state owned companies like the one in Brazil. Practically every one of these companies doing the exploration and drilling are majority owned by socialist governments. See them have issues with environmentalists or regulations that hamper their ability to find or drill for oil or gas? No, because these socialist governments exempts themselves from the very limitations the various collectivist-environmental- socialist movements imposes in capitalist systems where these companies are privately owned.
Think about that for a second. Socialist China, France, or Brazil look everywhere and drill everywhere. No enviro-whacko will stop them. I am not even sure they try. Do you here our enviro-whackos complain about China drilling but 60 miles off the coast of Florida? Of course not! And China is not considered environmentally friendly nor very concerned with that sort of stuff. But in every capitalist system drilling is basically stopped by these watermelons (Green on the outside but just cut the skin and they bleed collectivist red). China has the correct political persuasion I guess. The US, which has bent backwards to be environmentally conscious and friendly however, they want to shut down. Why would that be huh?
Don’t take my word for it. Do some research. And do not forget that in 2006 we where told by democrats that gas was expensive because of Bush and his oil buddies. They got elected because they where going to fix that. Oil is now double the price it was when a fools put these collectivist parasites in power. All we have heard and been given are ridiculously stupid calls for windfall profit taxes or accusations of nefarious conspiracies to make oil fat cats rich. Any kind of real relief? Not in this lifetime. People need to be in dire straights economically to succumb to the evils of collectivism. Do not expect the MSM to point that out however.
There is a reason Obama is still saying that he is against drilling. And it has nothing to do with him actually believing that drilling is not going to make a difference. He knows damn well it will. But the difference it would make is not what the collectivist like him want. Energy is a means to control. Control energy and you control the economy. Control both and you have an even tighter grip on people. And remember that collectivism is about government controlling all aspects of people’s lives. These bastards make out when they deny us the ability to remain free & mobile.
Start drilling. Build nukes. Do research into alternate energy. In that order. We have it backwards when all we do is let the collectivist tell us that only the last item is an option. Still think McCain is just as bad as the Obama-saiah? Not me. The differences are getting clearer and clearer.

What a difference….
Unless you have been living under a rock you should know that Iowa has been hit by some devastating floods. However this has not been made into a huge story because the leftist in the MSM have not been able to use it to push their agenda. Especially since Iowa seems to be handling their flooding crisis so well. I had been wondering if it would become obvious to people how despite a devastating situation the state of Iowa was not falling apart and blaming the Federal Government for their fate. Seems I am not alone as this article by Tigerhawk shows. I guess the people in Iowa should thank their lucky stars that they where able to elect capable people to their government. Something the people of New Orleans and the state of LA did not do. And the difference is telling. Read the piece, then the comments. You can tell that the libs showed up to immediately throw out the race card and to blame Bush. Of course the fact that the corrupt democratic collectivist machine owned LA and for purely political reasons let their own people die & suffer, all to blame Bush, will never sink in. Stay strong people of Iowa. That is the most important thing in dealing with these kinds of disasters. If you wait for government to come to your aid, you better pray that it is the military that comes. Otherwise you will suffer.

Want to see the future with Obama as our president?
For those that are facinated and in love with Obama and his promise of “Hope & Change” just have a good look at this piece on the troubles in Spain over at Pajamas Media. See Spain went collectivist after the train bombing attacks by sympathizers to al Qaeda a few years back and since then it looks like all the progress Aznar brought by getting rid of the collectivist bullshit that had been drowning Spain, like most of the other collectivist states in Western Europe, has come back with a vengeance. Basically we get to see how well the promises of “Hope & Change” by collectivists really turn out. Basically the Spanish economy is in a shambles and going to get much worse. And the government is going to meddle - collectivist can not help but try to fight the market and hence do damage to everything they touch and more - and make it worse. But they will label it as taking “socially just” actions, the masses of parasites that do sponge of those that do the actual production of wealth will eat it hook, line, and sinker, and so, it will be “ no problemo”. This is what Obama will bring us. Have a look at what Carter did and imagine it twice as bad. While our economy will be in the tank we will be getting attack by radicals that wll have been emboldened by a weak idiot. There is a reason we keep getting told that so many, and more importantly the worst and vilest people in the world, are looking forward to an Obama as president: they know he will put their interests head of that of America. But do not expect a collectivist enamored MSM to ever even allow that subject to come up. It is damn easy to claim to dislike America. But you know what? I prefer America be disliked, even hated, when it is doing the right thing - and America definitely will be disliked by the many losers when she is doing the right thing because that usually goes against their agendas - than ever doing the wrong thing just so we can get praise from people that would love to see us all burn in hell because of envy or because we stop them from doing the evil things they want. The left in this country has become vile and BDS has made them dangerous. I fear for this great country.

As well he should!
It looks like even John McCain whom has never been a proponent of the Guantanamo detention center gets the enormous problem that that rediculous liberal faction of the SCOTUS stuck us with.
John McCain on Friday described the decision by the Supreme Court to allow Guantánamo Bay prisoners to challenge their detention in US courts as “one of the worst decisions in the history of this country”. The Republican presidential candidate said he agreed with the four dissenting justices on the nine-member court that foreign fighters held at the detention camp were not entitled to the rights of US citizens.
He criticised Barack Obama, his Democratic opponent, for supporting the decision and said it highlighted the importance of nominating conservative judges to the Supreme Court. His remarks represented a hardening of his position from his more moderate initial response to the ruling on Thursday, signalling a strategic decision by the McCain campaign to make it an election issue.
Basically the 5 libs and Bush haters on the SCOTUS have given terrorists which do not even qualify as enemy combatants under the Geneva Convention rights and access to our courts. This basically means that uniformed soldier that do meat the Geneva Convention requirement are then also guaranteed this right. So the military is left with only a hand full of solutions to deal with these people. The first is to just kill all enemy combatants because there is no way that during a major conflict the government could provide legal means to deal with lets say 100,000 captured enemy combatants. Of course I am certain the idiots that made this ruling did not even consider this problem their violation of the Constitution has caused and the effects it will have. The alternative is to keep all captured combatants in other countries where this ruling has no meaning. Of course that carries risks of its own.
I am sure that these justices think they struck Bush a blow, but what they have done is strike America and its ability to fight an enemy that does not play by any rules a huge blow. Of course to the BDS infected idiots this is of no importance. If there is any justice in the universe they would be the only ones to suffer from this idiotic ruling, but we all know better. At least McCain is on the right side of this issue. Obama of course is not. And that does not surprise me. he is a Marxist that views this country with nothing but contempt after all.
UPDATE: It looks like I am not the beliefs the liberals on the SCOTUS really screwed us hard, and then for purely political reasons, by handing terrorists the same rights as criminals. Did we not try this approach all through the 1990s - Bill Clinton was the prez! - only to end up with the September 11th attacks? Why does the left refuse to accept the fact that this is war, and a new kind of dangerous war, and that police tactics will not serve the citizens well. Basically the left believes we should deal with terrorists just like common criminals after they have committed their crime and killed. But when they can kill thousands, we do not have that luxury. Americans deserve a government and a judicial branch that puts their interests ahead of the enemies of our state or their own political ambitions and agendas (I mean the agendas of both the enemy and the left which seem to way too often coincide). And to have the 5 libs on the SCOTUS completely ignore the Constitution and try to screw with presidential power is even more frightening. We will all pay for this ridiculous ruling. Remember again which political ideology we can thank for another ridiculous ruling from the bench that not only encroaches on the powers and responsibilities of another branch, but that puts Americans in general in serious danger while offering protections to vile and evil people. Disgusting.

Want to see something sad?
The NYT has an article about how several members of Congress had reached out and obtained loans from big mortgage lending companies that now are all under investigation for lax rules and bad lending practices - practices Congress itself forced upon them with rediculous legislation that was supposed to make it easier for minorities to get loans, mind you - but you really have to dig to find out which politicians are the ones involved. In fact the very article tries to conceal the politics of the people involved. You have to dig down deep into the story to find out that the big people involved seem to be a majority of democrats. Some close to the current Marxist the democrats are putting up as their candidate for POTUS. And when you read further the NYT tries real hard to diffuse the scandal by claiming some Bush Administration people where also privy to this VIP treatment. I am sure they are trying to claim they did that out of balance, but my bet is that is there to mitigate the fact that this scandal seems to involve many members of the most ethical Congress that got elected in 2006 to deal with all the scandalous and corrupt behavior they accused the republicans of at the time. Can you imagine how this story would have read if the NYT could only blame republicans? It would have been a horrible scandal. But now we have democrats, and many of them top members of the donkey party, and it is just something that we need to investigate. Scandalous indeed.

Marxist telling us he will cripple our economy!
Want to see how you can cripple any economy? See you need an explanation about what really is going to happen because the usual ass kissers in the MSM are not going to point that out. But you start doing shit like this:
The presidential candidate told senior citizens in Ohio on Friday that it is unfair for middle-class earners to pay the Social Security tax “on every dime they make, while millionaires and billionaires are only paying it on a very small percentage of their income.”
The payroll tax is now applied to all income up to $102,000 a year, which covers the entire amount for most Americans. Under Obama plan, the tax would not apply to incomes between that amount and $250,000. But all annual income above the quarter-million-dollar amount would be taxed under his plan.
What this collectivist idiot does not tell these dumb old fools is that there is a cap - imposed by other democrats whom invented this Ponzi scheme that you & I would be put in jail for running, mind you - because people making more than the cap can not collect more than the maximum payment which is capped based on that $102,000 a year. So in a sense Obama is admitting he is going to screw successful people or those trying to become rich by working hard (this is a payroll tax and most of these fat cat democrats have armies of accountants to hide their earnings and make it look like they have no income) out of their money. This kind of wealth redistribution is nothing but Marxism at its best. And it is not the only crazy “Steal from the productive to buy votes from life’s losers” plan this idiot has. I have a feeling this retard is going to make Carter look good if he wins. Every time these thieves have tried to steal from the successful to buy votes they have made life for the lemmings more miserable. But this class warfare bullshit seems to play well. Especially when it comes from a phony like this collectivist.

Remember that report that claimed we had the highest jump in unemployment in a long time? Oh the MSM muckers immediately blamed Bush, called it a quagmire, and blamed Bush for it. But the truth is out there. You want to know what was the biggest contributor to that jump? It was all those teens coming out of school and looking for a summer job and not finding anything. Want to know why? That minimum wage hike the donkeys in Congress where so proud of? Well now you see the consequences of that raise.
According to their data, only about one-third of Americans 16 to 19 years old will have a job this summer, and vulnerable low-income and minority teens are going to fare even worse. The percentage of teens classified as “unemployed” — those who are actively seeking a job but can’t get one — is more than three times higher than the national unemployment rate, according to the most recent Department of Labor statistics.
One of the prime reasons for this drastic employment drought is the mandated wage hikes that policymakers have forced down the throats of local businesses. Economic research has shown time and again that increasing the minimum wage destroys jobs for low-skilled workers while doing little to address poverty. According to economist David Neumark of the University of California at Irvine, for every 10 percent increase in the minimum wage, employment for high school dropouts and young black adults and teenagers falls by 8.5 percent. In the past 11 months alone, the United States’ minimum wage has increased by more than twice that amount.
This was predicted. Now it is happening. But do not expect the propaganda branch of the Marxist DNC to publish this fact, because it proves they and their ideology are bad for us all. Collectivism sucks! So teens, blame the donkeys for your lack of a job this summer and all the ensuing hilarity of not having any cash on hand to do anything. Of course candidate Changeyness & Hopiness will promise to fix it all by raising that minimum wage even more and taxing the evil people that are working more. Heh, with the real recession and the drastic destruction of our economy if these collectivists gain power in the coming elections, we can bet that what they will do will make this all look like a walk in the park. And I bet they destory our economy in but a couple of years!
