Al Qaeda torture center with mass graves found in Iraq. Waterboarding not on menu.

It looks like our troops discovered an al Qaeda torture facility with mass graves & all during the Surge Harry Reid still insists is a failure because Iraq is a lost cause. Of course this is bad news if you are Harry Reid or any of the losers that vote for him and/or his party members, because the only evil people are the Americans, and especially the American soldiers. The facts speak differently.

The grisly discoveries of the mass graves and torture center near Muqdadiyah, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, came during a Dec. 8-11 operation that also saw multiple battles between American troops and militants. The military said it killed 24 insurgents and detained 37 others during the operation.

The torture center, which the military said it thinks was run by al-Qaida in Iraq, was found based on tips from local Iraqis. Graves containing 26 bodies were found nearby.

“We discovered several (weapons) caches, a torture facility that had chains, a bed — an iron bed that was still connected to a battery — knives and swords that were still covered in blood as we went in to go after the terrorists in that area,” said Army Maj. Gen. Mark P. Hertling, the top U.S. commander in northern Iraq.

I wonder if they waterboarded people in this place? You know about waterboarding right? Of course you do with all the protests from leftist twits that want to accuse the US - and all because of Stage 6 BDS - of being evil and using torture. My bet is that there was no waterboarding. In fact my bet is that any of these real torturers would have made fun of anyone that claimed that waterboarding was torture. But things like this will never sink into the skulls of dumb America hating people that are so obsessed with Bush that the instinctively want to attribute the worst to anything in order to keep feeding their fantasies about him being the anti-Christ.

Global warming leads to.. world wide cool temps?

This is just got to be hillareous stuff you can not make up: record low temps being set around the globe. I wonder how the same people that have now predicted massive hurricane activity due to global warming - and been dead wrong - for the last two years will explain this stuff. The way they seem to twist logic and facts always leaves you wondering if they are sane, but then again, MMGW is nothing but a collectivist cult and more about faith than facts or logic. Don’t worry Pope Gore will talk and it will get hot from all that gas again…

Time shows its true colors

image

I can’t say I am surprised that Time Magazine picked Putin as their “Man of the Year” over the suggestion that it should go to someone like Patreus for his work. Why would a lefitst organization like Time not pick an authoritarian, anti-American socialist - these people loved Stalin and still believe that the USSR should have won the Cold War too, despite whatever bull they tell us these days - that is threatning to revive the days of the Cold War? I am certain the runners up list included such notables as Bin Laden and Chavez.

Harry Reid’s bitching and pouting

Harry Reid sure must be pissed these days. Trying to live down his assurances made last summer, right when the surge started, that the US lost the Iraq war and should cut & run only to see it work sucks. But in addition to getting that wrong the new 110th Congress has been absolutely and hands down one of the worst we have had. Unable to deliver on any real campaign promises - especially about fiscal responsibility & higher standards, which all went out the window as soon as they took over, but more importantly on their flagship issue, an Iraqi withdrawal, which the left kept claiming was why they won the 2006 elections - and basically out maneuvered by Bush and the republicans every time, it now looks like they are forgetting some things. Of course, and unlike when they were doing it to prevent republicans from enacting their polices when they were in charge in the years before, suddenly having the opposition party, well, be in the business of being in the opposition, is a terrible thing. Harry Reid, again thinking he was being clever, delivered the following commentary:

If this is what winning looks like, then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wants no part of it. Tired of Republican crowing about winning on Iraq funding, the budget battle and the energy bill, Reid (D-Nev.) shot back on Tuesday afternoon. “We hear a lot of Republicans boasting ... because of their unprecedented obstruction,” Reid said.

Indeed, Republicans have gotten their way in the battle over spending, have forced Democrats to jettison rollbacks of tax breaks for oil companies, and have beaten back attempts to pay for expanded children’s health care programs with a tobacco tax increase. Even though they’re in the minority, the GOP, backed by President Bush, has used the filibuster to block Democratic priorities over and over this fall.

“Who’s winning?” Reid asked a group of reporters. “Big Oil, Big Tobacco. ... Al Qaeda has regrouped and is able to fight a civil war in Iraq. ... The American people are losing.”

So when democrats had their turn at obstructing, and once in power try to tax the productive to death to buy votes, the American people win. But when the donkeys are prevented from passing more of their draconian anti-American and pro socialist bull, then the people are losing? I guess in the mind of these loser donkeys, the only “American people” are the ones that believe government should take care of them in a society where they abdicated all their freedoms & rights for a nanny state - one that will do a piss poor job if one is to go by every example where these policies have been enacted - and the rest of us, the ones that believed in that American dream of being free to pursue our dreams and succeed or fail, are not. Very telling. Besides, when was the last time you got a job from a poor guy?

Senator Reid, I prefer you never get to define who the American people are, because I certainly prefer never to be counted in what idiots like you try to tell us the American people need to be. If I wanted to be a no good socialist parasite or taxed to death I would have lived in Western Europe and been misserable in general.

Sure the NIE was right…

I was surprised by this article dealing with Germany expelling an Iranian diplomat because he was caught trying to buy Uranium enrichment equipment, not because I am surprised Iran is hard at work trying to enrich weapon grade Uranium for their nuclear weapons program as the NIE claimed, but because the Germans for once didn’t just make the sale. This means something. That Germany declined to make the usual profit because of sales of dangerous equipment to a tyrannical government which has never been a problem in the past, even when there were sanctions involved, is absolutely telling. Why now? What has caused the Germans to suddenly forgo the all might Euro, and we are discussing some serious amounts of cash again here, and even creating a diplomatic incident over it? You do not kick out a diplomat unless you are trying to send a message to their government about their actions (or some other problem sometimes). Germany obviously believed that serious harm could be coming from this sale to Iran, and then likely to themselves, in order to stop it. If they had only known that Iran had given up its weapons program in 2003!

I have read out there that there were all manner of reasons for the NIE conclusion. The most obvious being a political motivated move directed at tying the hands of the WH on Iran. Others have attributed an incredibly clever ploy by the WH to hurt the Iranians by denying Ahmadinejad this powerful piece of propaganda he used to stir nationalism. Some believed it was intended to force the Arab neighbors of Iran to suddenly become serious about both the Palestinian peace process and Iran’s nuclear ambitions.  I have even seen the claim Bush is simply passing the buck to the next guy or that the WH has concluded we can live with a nuclear armed Iran. Only politically motivated idiots suffering from stage 6 BDS however believe Iran is not trying to make nukes. The French & the Germans, whom would be in range of Iranian nukes, seem to not particularly like the NIE report and considering how reluctant these nations are to have to use force it is telling that France is saying they will not accept a nuclear Iran. And then there is Israel which can not gamble on the politics of this report. But the proof is out there and is ample that Iran is hard at work building nukes and not worried about anyone knowing. I sure hope we know what the hell we are doing. Especially if we end up with some retard that is more concerned with dragging America down the path of socialism instead of protecting American lives.

Another layer of the Global Warming hoax exposed

Just as more and more objective researchers are saying that the culprit is the sun and not man the UN is holding a very large and intensive carbon footprint party meeting in Bali where party crashers are again reminding us that this is about politics and not science. There is big money and a great opportunity to spread collectivism with the usual elite on top here though, so do not expect the religon of MMGW to go away without a big fight.

And the Beat goes on..

Can’t say that after that NIE report tying both the US and Israel’s hands on Iran, that I didn’t expect Israel to sound off and be pissed. The people most likely to be in A-jad’s sights are the people of Israel, and they have the most to lose if Iran goes nuclear. While I understand why Washington has been reluctant so far to bomb Iran and give the Mullahs an event that they can use to create a boost in nationalistic feelings and thus support for their hated and failed regime, the problem still remains that Iran with a nuke is a disaster. I am not sure what is going on with this NIE. Some are suggesting that it is an ambitious White House gambit intended to force the so far reluctant Arab neighbors of Iran to come together with Israel and oppose a nuclear Iran. The US so much as saying that the military option is off the boards is sure to scare the bejesus out of every Arab state in the region that was simply waiting for the Jews or the Americans to pound Iran, but it also creates the possibility that several of these people might be so cowed that they follow Syria’s example and actually end up under Iranian influence. That is even more of a problem if we then have to forcibly stop Iran. The fact of the matter is that Iran’s claims to superiority are based on pipe dreams, but a nuke will change the mechanics of the ME, and the world, and then in a real negative way. The fact of the matter is that this NIE has stirred up the hornet’s nest, and that might have exactly been its intention, and brought the whole issue of the Iranian nuke to the forefront. One thing is certain: the claim Iran gave up its weapon program in 2003 is bogus as hell and nobody but politically motivated libtard doves are actually buying it. In fact, quite a few of them are not buying it either as the reactions in Europe, which is more directly threatened by an Iranian nuke, have shown so far. There is something going on here that is above all our heads, but the likely scenarios I see playing out are all going to in the end play out ugly.

They were right when they claimed politics behinnd NIE findings

The libs that have been claiming that politics were behind the NIE findings were right. Of course the fact is that it now is clear that politics affected the current NIE report and not their usual drivel about how Cheney or Rove used their dark powers to make people lie about Iran. The proof is ample.

The inconsistencies are more troubling when we realize that, according to the Wall Street Journal, Thomas Fingar is one of the three officials who were responsible for crafting the latest NIE. The Journal cites “an intelligence source” as describing Fingar and his two colleagues as “hyper-partisan anti-Bush officials.” (The New York Sun drew attention to one of Fingar’s colleagues yesterday.)

It clearly seems that this “hyper-partisan anti-Bush officials” Thomas Fingar has manipulated the NIE report and is lying, or was lying when he made the following statement last July:

Iran and North Korea are the states of most concern to us. The United States’ concerns about Iran are shared by many nations, including many of Iran’s neighbors. Iran is continuing to pursue uranium enrichment and has shown more interest in protracting negotiations and working to delay and diminish the impact of UNSC sanctions than in reaching an acceptable diplomatic solution. We assess that Tehran is determined to develop nuclear weapons--despite its international obligations and international pressure. This is a grave concern to the other countries in the region whose security would be threatened should Iran acquire nuclear weapons.

Can’t have it both ways, and this turn around despite the massive amount of evidence and all the Brouhaha these last 2 years, where Iran has made it clear that it will build nukes because it has a right to do so, and everyone else has pointed out that iran was building nukes, simply can not be ascribed to anything but a politically motivated hack attack. If he has some proof that has made him do such a serious and complete 180 on what he said in July 2007, then Thomas Fingar has to come clean. But if this is again BDS driven politics intended to tie the hands of the Bush Administration and Israel on Iran, then this fool needs to be slapped down. While he certainly has given the moonbats on the left ammunition to fight any attempt to take forceful actions, the consequence of this load of crap are much worse.

Already those that care not if Iran gets a bomb because they calculate the Iranians armed with a nuke will actually help them out - Russia which would love oil at $250-300 a barrel because they are a major exporter for example - and if they choose to use the bomb will do so against Israel or US assets giving them plenty of time to nuke Iran back to the stone age to protect their own interests, are saying that sanctions on Iran are not needed anymore. And the lunatic in charge of that bus full of crazies in Tehran has already claimed victory for his weapons project, the one the NIE says doesn’t exist because it was supposedly stopped in 2003, and pointed out it was full steam ahead. How likely is he to take any attempts at negotiations to curb their nuclear ambition now?

No you moonbats, this is not a vindication of your BDS motivated beliefs nor a good thing. At a minimum it has given Iran a ton of breathing room to do whatever they want while seriously hampering any and all abilities to use diplomatic efforts to coerce them into not making a bomb. In one fell swoop this idiotic political move has almost guaranteed that we will eventually end up in a conflict with Iran, likely with them having a bomb at the time, and a catastrophic escalation that will go global. But hey, you got to stick it to Bush and can again go about ranting that he is an evil genius-moron that is the biggest terrorist ever. And you wonder why people do not trust your kind with power…

Unforseen consequences

Well I bet that the people that thought they were sticking it to Bush and making sure enough doubt was cast on what Iran was doing to prevent both the US and Israel from taking action against Iran did not realize what the consequences to this pyrrhic victory would entail. But the rest of us that live in the real world and do not suffer from BDS can already see that it has just made it easier for Iran to move on with their bomb making project. I am sure these tools never realized that their “gotcha” moment would seriously undermine the very process they demanded be used as part of the only process they approve of, negotiations ad nauseum: sanction on Iran for non compliance. And look how President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reacted:

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - A new U.S. intelligence review concluding Iran stopped developing an atomic weapons program in 2003 is a “declaration of victory” for Iran’s nuclear program, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Wednesday.

Was that some kind of translation faux pas? That these people have concluded there was no nuclear program anymore since 2003 is a victory for that very project? No he didn’t seem to say it was a victory for Iran because it was saying all along that there was no weapons project. He is saying it was a victory for that very project. Think that through. How would a report from Washington that basically casts enough doubt to paralyze both the US and Israel from taking action against a weapons program be a “victory” for that program, unless that program was going ahead and now no longer had a serious threat to stop it?
]
But you think this kind of stuff will sink into the minds of the deluded BDS infected fools? Not a chance. They got Bush and got their way, a way which will incidentally lead to a nuclear armed Iran which will then either hold the world hostage by threatening the oil flow in the ME, or likely just use it against Israel and trigger a nuclear world war. To bring that 12th Imam and the “End of times”, of course. Rejoice and pretend you won lefties. However remember that when the shit hits the fan, you can try to blame Bush again, but we will know better and not let you off the hook. Of course, you could care less as BDS has prevented you all from being logical about anything for the last 7 years anyway.

What the weak dollar is really doing..

Lately I have been reading a ton of crap, most of it by Bush hating collectivists that need bad news in order to energize people to vote for democrats and without a clue about economics, about how the weak dollar is going to make America go belly up and the Euro is going to become the real world currency. But the facts are quite different and what is really happening are things like this one. Contrary to the lies from the moonbats, the dollar is weak on purpose. A weak dollar might be bad for the average citizen that is thinking about going on vacation, but it is helping our economy out big time. I am still convinced that it is weak on purpose. Primarily to put pressure on China to break its currency from being pegged to the dollar and to bring industry, like in the article above, to the US. Sooner or later the Europeans will adopt policy to lower the Euro or risk the massive losses that it will mean for them. And sooner or later China will have to break from the dollar too, and I guarantee you the Europeans will not want China to peg their currency to their Euro either. In the mean time the whole thing is a bonanza for US manufacturers and exporters, lowers imports because of cost, and in general is a big positive kick for our economy. Just sucks when you are an elite leftist that loves to spend time in Europe where your dollar doesn’t go as far these days or one of the other fools hoping for some kind of catastrophic recession in order to herald the coming of the collectivist age like these absolutely crazy idiots. See, behind every collectivist, anti-capitalist decrying greed, is a simpleton that is envious of what others have, but too lazy, incapable, or both of making it for himself. So instead they demand everyone else give up what they don’t have and certainly won’t work fo unless it is given to them for free. These people are all about spreading the misery equally. Bunch of idiots all.

Oh how it sucks to be libtard.

I have to admit that I do not usually read liberal writers because I know how deluded the majority of them are, but then again and every once in a while, you come across something that proves what we know about them like how democrats only proper when bad things happen to America/41543/. First this tool rambles on about how the surge is working in Iraq and how now that issue has evaporated from their potential arsenal to bash the right with in 2008. Then he cries about how now Embryonic Stem Cells and that issue has also evaporated for them. He continues on with a short discussion about the peace meetings in Washington between Israel and the Arab contingent about the Palestinian issue, and after somehow twisting himself into a pretzel to say that if it works the left can then use that to make the argument negotiations do work. But he then tacitly admits that the left would be left with a dirty taste in their mouths because Bush was the one to make it happen. Just like they have when the issue of the Cold War comes up and Reagan’s role has to be acknowledged. Of course I had a chuckle over that because I know way too many liberals that think the wrong side won the Cold War to begin with, and they would never feel anything but sadness at the passing of the USSR. Most of them pine for the good old USSR to check evil America and show us the wonders of collectivism. Anyway, he finally gets to the good news: the economy might be about to hit a recession!

And so for Democrats, every news story pointing to imminent economic ugliness is a gift. Such is our duplicitous American version of Leninism lite: The worse, the better—but don’t ever say so. Our cynical Bizarro selves must remain closeted.

Big good-news stories are alarming, big bad-news stories are heartening—and applying the template of one’s own agendas also makes small, lurid, inconsequential news stories fascinating. I’m talking about the book publisher Judith Regan’s lawsuit against News Corp., which fired her a year ago after Rupert Murdoch decided that the tsuris was no longer worth the profits she generated. For me the legal fight is Godzilla vs. Mothra—even though I think Regan was very badly treated, I’m not really rooting for either side to win. But I am desperate for the depositions and discovery and trial testimony.

So he basically points out how bad news for America is good news for the democrats. The rest of this article is more of the usual lib drivel. And I have to say he is not the first lib that I have heard comment with glee that we might be hitting a recession - look at how the MSM has been covering any financial news and see the negative slant for proof - and that while that will hurt the average American, and possible badly, it will help get a democrat into the WH. Think about that. How screwed up must you be that you pray and live for bad news so you side can have power? Even worse, what does that say about your side? Again, what hurts us in America helps democrats.

Moderate Islam? Where are they?

You constantly hear talk from the left how people that claim there is a problem with islam are crazy for painting all members of that religion with a broad and horrible brush, but when you see stories like this it is hard to make the case that something is not amiss with Islam. The question begs to be asked and answered why the members of Islam seem to suffer from such lack of confidence in their own beliefs. Or is it a deepseeded need for violence? If Christians got ticked off and thought every time they felt someone insulted some part of their religion blood had to be shed, you know that the very same people pointing out how it is wrong to say Islam has problems would be screaming at the top of their lungs about the evils of Christianity. or maybe they would not. There is a lot to be said about the fact that Christianity is an easy target precisely because those that follow it do not take to the streets and demand blood whenever they feel slighted.

Anyway, the reaction to this is simply astounding.  These people want to kill this woman. They are not happy with an appology of any kind. That says something about them. There is a reason that in Islamic countries it is against the law to have any other kind of religious material. There is a reason that in Islamic countries one can not build houses of worship that are not mosques. There is a reason that in Islamic countries, and they believe this applies even outside their countries, that anyone that abandons Islam -i.e. converts - is basically sentenced to death. The same reason is behind this reaction. Islam is simply intollerant and still trapped in the Dark Ages. Those that follow it are filled with hatered as a matter of course. This crap about Islam being peaceful is just that: crap. The proof is ample that Islam is a dangerous and scary cult. If I heard Christians were demanding someone be killed over somthing this stupid, I would be front and center making the case that those people were neither Christian nor my peers. Where have the moderate Islamic community members demanding these crazy bastards go home been? Be weary…
